DUA curates the best of Indonesian handmade bags and home decoration for everyone. We are Belgian based brand, part of Bright Smile BV company, with international reach. DUA means “two” in Bahasa Indonesian; it represents two sides of the world, Indonesia and Europe. Behind the brand is an Indonesian woman who currently works and lives in Belgium, the capital of Europe. You can find here handmade accessories from natural material from local and small artisans in Bali, Lombok, and Java. We have a passion to show the world what lies in the country, introduce beautiful handwoven bags and baskets, made using natural and locally available materials. Each bag is carefully crafted with lots of love, to provide the user with a beautiful product, one that cares about the environment and the people too. DUA also works together (for certain items) with local social enterprises such as Du'anyam and Studio Dapur, which pay their weavers higher wage than usual.
