Stormy Knight was set up in 2013 by its founder Sarah Jackson, alongside her day job as a graphic designer. Bored of working for corporate clients, Sarah poured her creativity into designing screen-printed batches of greeting cards and selling them to local shops in Bristol. Fast forward a decade, and our quirky, fun (and sometimes a little cheeky) designs can be found in some of the best design-led card and gift shops across the UK as well as internationally – and we’ve even stacked up a few awards!

studio THIE is a contemporary lifestyle brand founded by Simon Thie. We aim to bring you joy and excitement through our uniquely designed and consciously made products. Our two brands, THIE and Paper Dreams have been developed with our conscious approach in mind. We prefer to use the word conscious, because that is what we are. Words like eco, ethical, and sustainable have become so widely used and misused that sometimes it is hard to know precisely what they mean, which is why we take a conscious approach to what we do. That includes offsetting carbon emissions, our climate-positive workforce, planting a tree for every order, being a living wage employer, and giving back 1% of sales to green initiatives. Our founder, Simon, worked in buying and product development for nearly a decade at one of the world's leading design and lifestyle brands, which led him to create his eponymous brand. We aren't perfect, but we are conscious.

Best Years are a small, friendly and ethical independent toy company supplying independent shops and museums. Whether organic, fair trade or ethically sourced our toys are all suitable from birth, tested to UKCA and CE and machine washable. We have toys suitable for baby hampers and baby gifts up to large dinosaur soft toys. Our production partners share our values and we work with artisans and toy makers in Sri Lanka, Egypt, China, India & Vietnam. NB. we do not allow the sale of our toys on Amazon, Ebay or other third party platforms. Not only do we think that we have the cutest toys around but they are uniquely suited to the needs of young children. Knitted toys bring a tactile quality to baby toys which is great for helping sensory development. They are robust enough to stand up to even the most active of toddler play. And machine washable too! Paper High is a Fair Trade company and sell handmade leather bags, stationery, and homeware products. Our mission is to design and source good quality ethical and sustainable fair trade products that also make a difference to peoples lives by providing them with continued work. We work exclusively with small producers in India, Nepal and Sri Lanka and visit once a year. We have a vast array of products with new products being added each season.

We are a family run company in Sussex producing high quality Greetings Cards and Gifts to cherish. Crumble & Core began in 2016 while 3 girls, Lucy, Lou & Jilly, were having a cup of tea around the kitchen table. Lucy and Lou fell in love with Jilly’s incredible watercolour paintings. We all had very different skillsets, but collectively all those skills put together with a sprinkle of passion, drive and a sense of humour, our baby was born ! Since then we have grown, and we now run our business from a beautiful Oast house on a farm in the stunning East Sussex countryside, with our products sold in over 600 stores in the UK and Worldwide. We source everything in the UK, using local suppliers where possible and we lovingly hand-finish everything ourselves. Proudly British Designed, British Made.

Every item we sell is handcrafted by our talented artisans, using traditional weaving, knitting or wet felting techniques. We have small production runs to eliminate as much waste material, where possible we also recycle the materials into other products. Therefore reducing our impact the environment as much as possible. We work with small family run businesses or fair trade cooperatives, that are creating secure employment in an area with little opportunity, especially for women.

Originally from Sydney, Australia she made the move to London and has since brought her style and eye for beautiful design to album artwork, book covers, her own books and has recently focussed on creating her own range of cards and prints.
