About the colour: Oskar Schlemmer Triadic Ballet

The ballet premiered in Stuttgart, on 30-31 September 1922, with music composed by Paul Hindemith. Schlemmer designed colourful geometrical costumes for the dancers, which are artworks in themselves. Some of the original costumes were preserved and can be seen at the Neue Staatsgalerie in Stuttgart.
