This UNESCO World Heritage Site is considered to be the ‘navel of the Earth’ and the source of prophetic wisdom. This distinctive and important collection marks the final shift in a new direction for MIA PAPA, where accessories are set to compliment the focus on ready-to-wear garments as they take centre stage. Editor's Note Named after the highest priestess of the Temple of Apollo at the Oracle of Delphi, this midi ivory dress is a timeless garment with colourful twill silk details of the floor plan of the archaeological site. This garment holds a very special place in our collection as it is handmade with raw silk from the Northern Greek town of Soufli. The Pythia dress peace silk fabric is woven from the silk fibers that were left over and instead of discarding these remnants, we collect and weave them into this unique and beautiful textured fabric. This is part of our zero-waste and upcycling efforts to help protect the environment. Handmade in Athens.
