Description

Grapes: Garnacha 100%. Area: Old vineyards from DOP Cebreros-Sierra de Gredos, Avila. Wine type: Rose-Blanc de Noir. Winery: SotoManrique Bodega Alcohol: 13% ABV Vineyards: Made up with old bush vines of 100% Garnacha, one of the most traditional and spread-out variety in Spain. Planted on very poor granitic and sandy soils, and intermingled with slates, over 800 meters of altitude. Wine making: 100% low temperature fermentation in stainless steel vats without maceration, made-up with direct press and no skins contact, blanc de noir style. Tasting notes: Very pale pink colour with light pinkish reflections, clean and clear. Very unique elegant and fresh aroma, with hints of strawberry, cherry, jasmine, as well as mint and balsamic. Light on the palate, but very fresh, complex with good length, rounded and pleasant. Serving and pairing: Enjoy with snacks and dishes like fish, rice, pasta, cheese or a good Jamon Iberico.
