Kokedama with stabilized moss and Leather fern. Eagle fern is a delicate fern with fine, feathery branches, giving it a light, airy appearance. Stand and base are supplied separately. The base or stand is designed to enhance the komedama's airy appearance. It can also be presented on a simple dish. Diameter ball 13 cm Total height 50 - 55 cm Kokedama means "moss ball" in Japanese. The technique comes to us from Japan; invented in the 1990s by Bonzai enthusiasts, it's a unique floral art technique. This stabilized moss and plant floral object requires NO maintenance. The moss and plant have been specially treated to retain their shape, texture and color. This will last years. However, it is important to avoid wetting the plant or putting in a humid area and to avoid exposing it to bright direct sunlight (it will lose its color).
