Description
A faithful reproduction of my Cernunnos linocut print, which was inspired by The Gundestrup Cauldron, a beautiful Iron Age silver cauldron, found in the Danish hamlet of Gundestrup in the late 19th Century.
In Celtic mythology, Cernunnos is a horned god, usually depicted surrounded by animals and considered to be Lord of the Wild Things, a peaceful god of animals and fruitfulness. He is linked to the British legends of Herne the Hunter and The Green Man.
Beautifully printed in Cornwall on 350gsm FSC certified stock, made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste, which has a silky-smooth, lightly speckled finish. Brown Kraft envelope included.
Blank inside, making it perfect for any occasion, or it also looks great on the wall.
Individual cards are posted in a paper envelope, but otherwise naked. No plastic or starch packaging.
