Believe You Can launched at the Top Drawer show in London in 2007 with just ten products (now there are over 200!). It was an instant success and the 'Fair Trade Fairies' have magically grown to include Unicorns, Flamingos, a Wedding range, Ballerinas, Mermaids, Angels, Easter animals and a large Christmas range. All products are exclusively designed in the UK and made by WFTO (World Fair Trade Organisation) certified producers who have excellent working conditions, no child labour and also set up and fund local community welfare projects in India - including three schools and a health clinic. The popularity of Believe You Can is due to the unique designs and that each product has its own individual and inspirational 'poem' or 'quote', many of which can be personalised.

Liyana Studio's story began when I was doodling funny animals on my lap in a tiny home studio in Berkeley, California. It was a mental break while searching for a job after graduating from engineering school. After sharing my self-taught art on Reddit, it gained instant fame of over 2 million "upvotes". Encouraged by this unexpected success and with funding from kind internet strangers, I opened Liyana Studio in December 2017. Rooted in online meme culture, my illustrated animals do not just smile; they grin, beam, smug, and wink; they express and pose like us. It’s my passion to make you chuckle, laugh out loud, and make an audible "aww". I can’t wait for you to share these feelings with your loved ones by gifting them the cards. Now, this one woman-owned studio has grown to include more than 300 designs including cards, calendar, stickers. I continue to take pride in handmaking each product and locally sourcing my supplies. Made by Shannon focuses on the creation of environmentally conscious paper goods and gifts. ​ We are motivated by ensuring each element of our materials is considered in terms of where it is sourced from. Most importantly the story behind it, e.g. handmade paper made from offcuts of cotton rags from the textiles industry. Currently we are using a traditional 1980s hot foiling press in-house to help create a story behind our products. ​ We love travelling across the UK and France sourcing beautiful vintage fabric to create our zip pouches., These are hand sewn in the South of England. We love the idea that we can cut up a piece of fabric and share it with so many people across the world.
