Stormy Knight was set up in 2013 by its founder Sarah Jackson, alongside her day job as a graphic designer. Bored of working for corporate clients, Sarah poured her creativity into designing screen-printed batches of greeting cards and selling them to local shops in Bristol. Fast forward a decade, and our quirky, fun (and sometimes a little cheeky) designs can be found in some of the best design-led card and gift shops across the UK as well as internationally – and we’ve even stacked up a few awards!

Meg Hawkins is a UK-based watercolour artist and homeware designer. Inspired by her surroundings and wanting to bring bright, colourful and joyful artwork featuring animals from all over the world to your home Meg Hawkins Ltd was created! Established in 2015, Meg Hawkins Art started life as Meg Hawkins Illustrations from the kitchen table. Since then, Meg has gone on to sign licensing agreements and produce her own homeware, giftware, and greeting card ranges that are sold all over the world.

Our Pencil Shavings Cards are all handmade in the UK. Each card is individually made using real pencil shavings lovingly cut by our team of skilled homeworkers. With over 200 designs to choose from, there’s something for everyone.

We are a family run company in Sussex producing high quality Greetings Cards and Gifts to cherish. Crumble & Core began in 2016 while 3 girls, Lucy, Lou & Jilly, were having a cup of tea around the kitchen table. Lucy and Lou fell in love with Jilly’s incredible watercolour paintings. We all had very different skillsets, but collectively all those skills put together with a sprinkle of passion, drive and a sense of humour, our baby was born ! Since then we have grown, and we now run our business from a beautiful Oast house on a farm in the stunning East Sussex countryside, with our products sold in over 600 stores in the UK and Worldwide. We source everything in the UK, using local suppliers where possible and we lovingly hand-finish everything ourselves. Proudly British Designed, British Made.

We are a design led greetings card company that produce an eclectic mix of cards, packs and gift wrap. We work with a great selection of artists whose style fits the Earlybird brand to bring contemporary, colourful and fabulous cards to our wonderful customers. Along with Neon print, we love great art and fab finishes like Spot Uv and emboss. All our designs are all printed in the UK on 100% recycled or FSC accredited board.

Pretty Alright Goods makes greeting cards, goods, and gifts for the above average. I founded the brand (formerly The Matt Butler) in 2012 when I quit my fifth grade teaching job to pursue linocut printmaking. Hand printed wall art and TOMS shoes transitioned to greeting cards and gifts in 2015 and we haven’t looked back since. In 2018 the company was rebranded to Pretty Alright Goods after we added new members to our team. We continually work to produce products that are both witty and genuine. We love what we do and could not do it without the support of wonderful retailers like you.

We're JOLLY AWESOME - a family-run studio designing playful contemporary cards, art prints and gifts :) Founded in 2013 by British-Vietnamese illustrator Matt Nguyen and wife Katie, our collections feature Matt's original illustrations influenced by his love of pop-culture, fashion and funny looking animals. We also act as a platform supporting the nicest and most exciting illustrators from around the world. We are proudly printed in England on FSC certified substrates and materials. Cards are packed plastic free with a card clasp.

I’m the owner and designer of Camille Medina (the brand), which I run from the city centre of Leicester. While I have made cards and gifts for family and friends for as long as I can remember, it’s at the beginning of 2014 that I decided I wanted to take my creations to the next level and start my brand. That’s also when I launched my Etsy shop. Since then, I have launched my own website and have collaborated with well-known brands like Gus & Bella and Natwest, further spreading awareness of Camille Medina. Swearing, typography, humour, and the complexities of life all go into forming The Curious Pancake's eclectic greeting card range. The range is illustrated and brain-birthed by Nottingham-based creative, and greeting card shop owner Claire Senior. Claire likes tea, pancakes, cats, watching telly and nothing else.

An incredibly distinctive artistic style, David's work conjures up ironic comments on everyday situations and human interactions. His perceptive drawings and texts are typically deadpan in their humour and reveal chance declarations like snippets of over-heard conversations. Reoccurring themes and random musings permeate his story telling, often capturing childlike views of the world. Whilst drawing is at the core of his work, he is also prolific in various other mediums including sculpture, large-scale installations, painting, animation, photography and music. He is consistently looking to expand his public by operating regularly outside of the gallery territory such as in artist publications and musical collaborations. In September 2016, David’s Fourth Plinth Commission in Trafalgar Square, London was unveiled. Standing at seven metres high, the ‘Really Good’ thumbs up sculpture was a refreshing and wonderfully optimistic addition to the famous landmark.

Wot Ma Like Ltd has been going since 2009, starting with the Geordie Mugs brand focussing on regional dialect cards and gifts. Big changes happened January 2014 when Nick Burrows joined his wife Jo to run the business and drive it forward. Jo was brought up in Byker Newcastle where her dolls were the best dressed around as from an early age she had huge creative flair. She trained as a Textile Designer and went on to work for several big high street stores as a designer before working through design agents to sell her work worldwide. Jo has always been very proud of her North East heritage and has used the design name BYKERLASS for many years. Nick comes from a commercial and customer service background having worked at a senior level for an international cruise company until July 2013. Nick brings business sense, focus, IT skills and fabulous customer service.

Shroot is a ‘budding’ young business based in Bristol and established in 2021. Our plant-based products are unique and make wonderful gifts. We are proud to be winners of the Gift of the Year Awards 2022 and Wales Start Up Awards 2021. Voted 'Best Mother's Day Gift 2022' by The Independent. Greens and Greetings was our launch product – a greeting card and post-able plant pot rolled into one! Each Greeting has an attractive design and grows microgreens (fast growing mini herbs and veggies – bang on trend!). We have also released Wildflower Wishes, a cute gift that contains seeded wish papers so you can write your wishes, plant them and watch them grow! We ensure the company uses the most eco-friendly products available, such as peat free coir soil and non GMO seeds and Shroot has been awarded a certificate for sustainability from SME Certification Centre.
