We have toys suitable for baby hampers and baby gifts up to large dinosaur soft toys. Our production partners share our values and we work with artisans and toy makers in Sri Lanka, Egypt, China, India & Vietnam. NB. we do not allow the sale of our toys on Amazon, Ebay or other third party platforms. Not only do we think that we have the cutest toys around but they are uniquely suited to the needs of young children. Knitted toys bring a tactile quality to baby toys which is great for helping sensory development. They are robust enough to stand up to even the most active of toddler play. And machine washable too! Once upon a time in a magical land (Brighton, UK) lived a girl called Louise, who dreamt of creating unique, gorgeous products which were also Fair Trade. Believe You Can launched at the Top Drawer show in London in 2007 with just ten products (now there are over 200!). It was an instant success and the 'Fair Trade Fairies' have magically grown to include Unicorns, Flamingos, a Wedding range, Ballerinas, Mermaids, Angels, Easter animals and a large Christmas range. All products are exclusively designed in the UK and made by WFTO (World Fair Trade Organisation) certified producers who have excellent working conditions, no child labour and also set up and fund local community welfare projects in India - including three schools and a health clinic. The popularity of Believe You Can is due to the unique designs and that each product has its own individual and inspirational 'poem' or 'quote', many of which can be personalised.

HOW IT BEGAN My go-to, as a new mum, was the muslin cloth. I loved how versatile this little piece of material was; I literally used it for everything. However, I wanted more than just a 'burp' cloth. I wanted something that felt super soft, washed well and looked good. THE INSPIRATION Living in the picturesque seaside town of Salcombe with its unspoiled beaches, dramatic cliffs, and stunning scenery it made the perfect backdrop for Beach Born and is where the initial design inspiration originated. Using a mix of media, from traditional painting and printing techniques, to digital design and artworking, she combines layers of texture, pattern and colour, to achieve her charming unique style. Lucy's modern art prints aspire to brighten children’s spaces, creating places of inspiration that spark the imagination. Art prints are neatly presented with a mount and backing board (sourced from other small businesses in the UK), in a clear compostable sleeve with branded sticker and information label. Lucy’s floral art prints were inspired by lockdown walks and exploring nature with her two boys. A nostalgic and enjoyable process, from picking and pressing flowers, to photographing and assembling the final artwork.
