As Founder of Wraptious, I made my first sale 10 years ago, collaborating with artists, passionately sharing their work at over 500 markets stalls and trade shows. Now I am proud to say that we support over 50 artists directly, and have promoted thousands of others. We believe all artists deserve opportunities to have their work shared. Our new ranges are even launched from the winners of our biannual competition - fun events where the public - not us - choose our artists! We go above and beyond for our customers, with product quality and sustainability cornerstones of Wraptious. At Essential Designs London, we try to bring the spirit of traditional India into Home Furnishings which keep the handcrafted magic alive but are affordable to everyone to appreciate in their homes. Our products range from up north Kashmir to Western India Rajasthan & Gujarat! We specialise in Kantha bedspreads throws, winter blankets, winter wraps, textile wall decor, sustainable upcycled Silk Kimonos, cushion covers, meditation cushions, handloom rugs, floor cushions. Our company founded in 2008 was a creative edge for Minnie who specialises in Hr & Accounting. The textile enthusiast who was feeling lack of any creative outlet, started small, as it was a tough journey for a person to manage all the ends from production to sales. In 2016, Devika joined as a co-partner to add some vibrancy to the collection. Since 2016, we both manage different ends of the work.

However, since the early 2000’s, he decided to expand his traveling to East Africa and Southeast Asia. Almost everything we have ever bought to sell we have bought ourselves from producers and their representatives in Africa and Asia. We abide by Fair Trade principles and work closely with people in many countries to obtain the best products and crafts to promote the well-being of those people. DR. HomageMade was created during the economic catastrophe of COVID-19 by founder Royce Peacock. While traveling through Mexico, Royce saw several of his favorite artisan villages completely closed down due to the virus and the artisans had no ability to sell their works. He decided to start working with the artisans to better understand their history and process behind their products in order to share their story with the rest of the world. He decided to buy the products that the artisans were not able to sell at the time in order to start creating a flow of income for the artisans and Royce sold them to friends and family in the US who shared his passion for the beautiful goods. He traveled around Mexico knocking on doors and meeting with artisans and their families to find sustainable, handmade goods that could be ethically-sourced and that could tell a story. He found a way to pay them above market-value and be able to offer percentages towards future community-projects
